Apartment hunting in Brooklyn? You might want to check out Crown Heights, which has a lot of new residential development these days, with the completion of several ground up and newly renovated buildings. And prices there are lower than in neighboring Prospect Heights, a popular neighborhood that like Crown Heights hugs part of Prospect Park.
Along with new residential buildings—including luxury condo buildings like 111 Montgomery and rentals like 409 Eastern Parkway and The Olmstead Luxury Residences, there are new restaurants and stores opening their doors along the main drag,Franklin Avenue. And there are some great destinations here: Institutions like the Brooklyn Museum, and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden straddle the border of the two areas, and the Brooklyn Children's Museum, located in Crown Heights, is another favorite for families.
